These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Hunch mobile app (the "App"), operated by Yolobytes Ltd. ("Hunch," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the App.

Hunch is a skill/entertainment game, not gambling. All points are virtual and have no monetary value. Points cannot be purchased, sold, transferred, redeemed, or withdrawn for cash or anything of value. Hunch does not facilitate gambling or real-money betting of any kind.

1. What Hunch is

Hunch shows you real-world questions - some sourced from Polymarket, a public prediction market, and some editorial - and lets you predict "yes" or "no." Correct predictions on harder-to-call outcomes earn more virtual points; incorrect predictions lose points, down to a floor that keeps the game playable indefinitely. A leaderboard ranks players by points. None of this involves real currency, deposits, withdrawals, or wagering real value.

Market data and community probability estimates shown in the App are provided for entertainment purposes only. They are not financial, investment, or betting advice, and we don't guarantee their accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. The App only reads public data from Polymarket - it never trades on your behalf, holds funds, or connects to any cryptocurrency wallet.

2. Eligibility

By using the App, you represent that you have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms in your jurisdiction.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
One account per person. Don't create accounts to manipulate the leaderboard or scoring system.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account (or, if you sign in with Google, Facebook, or Apple, whatever those providers share with us).
You can delete your account at any time from within the App; doing so permanently removes your profile and prediction history.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Attempt to manipulate scores, predictions, or the leaderboard through automation, exploits, or coordinated multi-account activity
Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the App or the services it depends on
Use the App for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, abuse, or impersonate others
Attempt to circumvent the "no real money" nature of the App - for example, by buying, selling, or trading accounts or points for anything of value

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Virtual points

Points are a purely in-app measure of prediction skill. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money or any other item of value, are non-transferable, and exist entirely at our discretion - we may adjust, reset, or discontinue the points system at any time without any obligation to compensate you.

6. Third-party services

The App relies on third-party services to operate, including Clerk (authentication) and Supabase (data storage). Your use of the App is also subject to those providers' own terms where applicable. See our Privacy Policy for details on what data is shared with them and why.

7. Intellectual property

The App, its design, and its content (excluding third-party market data, which belongs to its respective source) are owned by Yolobytes Ltd. You're granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that market data shown is accurate or complete.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yolobytes Ltd. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Because the App involves no real money, our aggregate liability to you for any claim is limited to $0.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the App.
